Peace in my world
I have experience with violence with my family, friends and strangers. My friends get angry because they want me to fight with the people that have problems with me or my family, but I say, “I don’t care. If you call me chicken or Scary- cat because fighting is not good. If you start fighting it is never going to stop and that’s what I don’t want.” My family tells me what to do because they want the best for my life. I don’t see it like that. I say one thing and my family says another and I don’t know what to do in that moment, but I know that I need to be calm. With people that are strangers, I know that I can’t fight with them so I think before doing something that is wrong. When I feel that I can’t control myself, I go to a park, to church or relax with my friends to find calm , peace, and respect.
We all have different size, gender, class; race, sexual orientation, but we are the same human. If some person wants to fight with me I am not going to fight because we all have different things we like but we are humans. Violence is not good. Friendship with the world is good. We should remember the important things: that people are all
the same no matter what they do or who they are.
People are the same
I have home you have home
I have family you have family
I have problems you have problems
I have skin color you have skin color
I have a place that I like you have a place you like
I have peace you can have peace
I respect you can respect
If I can work with friends you can work to with friends
If I don’t fight in my life you can’t do it too
Believe in yourself.
