Behave in class -

I have a class in which I don’t know anybody; I don’t have a friend in that class. In that class, I see people who don’t care who is sitting next to them, even if I talk to them. One day, I asked a girl who was sitting next to me, “I don’t understand how to do this assignment. Can you help me to do it?” and she just ignored me. I can understand why they all like that. That class is Agriscience and I’m alone in that class because nobody knows me and I don’t know them too.

We had a teacher left about a month ago. I don’t have any idea what happened to her, but substitutes said that she is very sick and can’t come to school. Every day we had substitutes and my class was doing whatever they want to do. Some of them didn’t respect the substitutes and did not pay attention what the substitute was trying to talk. I think like that because I never saw in my other classes behavior like in this class. All of my other classes are friendly and respectful to substitutes.

I never had this class before and I don’t know what to do. My class had free time every day because our teacher is gone. I was trying to do every work that the substitute gave us, but nobody cared about the grades or work that the substitute gave us every day. One day I asked myself, “Who we are and why we are mean to each other?” I know the answer; in this class we are people who don’t want to be compassionate. I have never been mean to anybody; I just do what I’m supposed to do. In my class, students are just ignoring each other and they are so mean to teachers and to each other because nobody cares about each other, and every day substitutes are there.

After one month, we were surprised because we got a new teacher. She is old but she is helping us to have better grades in this class. Every day we help her to take attendance so she will know our names better. I am so excited to be in this class now. Every day we are working and time is going faster because we are not wasting our time in this class anymore. We all have good grades right now. This teacher is a kind old woman that helps us to do better in class. Time is going like water and we are starting to know each other now and we trying to help each other also.

Now we all know how this class is important for us. I see how our behavior has changed to good way. The class changed because students started to behave well in this class because now we are all together. We are all doing our work on time and working in groups to finish fast. The best thing that I learned in this class is to communicate and be compassionate to each other. We are doing our work very well and she is collecting our work; nobody has a bad grade anymore because we are a friendly class. We are proud of our new teacher and students also.
