STOP DISCRIMINATION
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
Where are we going with hate, prejudice and conflict?
Feeling like this race is better than that,
We cannot change what God created, because we are his image.
Whites, Black, Asians we are all human beings.
Why not love?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
I can’t forget how I left my country without knowing where I’m going,
Being chased from my own home country like an animal,
Unexpected things happened, suffering in a refugee camp looking
For peace, just because of prejudice and hate,
Why not compassion?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
Because of you, I became a refugee,
Losing my people and becoming homeless,
Because of you, poverty has increased in many countries.
People killing one another without mercy, just because of you.
Why not compassion?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
I can’t forget how you brought genocide to Rwanda,
1994 to now, people are still suffering,
losing their lives and suffering just because of you,
Wandering all over the world, looking for peace,
You are just a destroyer, why not a builder?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
People are judging others, because of their color and language.
When I came to the U.S, I thought I would feel at home,
And forget what had passed, but some people are filled with hate and
Discrimination, why not love?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
I wonder what youth are going to build in the future,
while they discriminate against others.
I can’t forget when I joined school,
some students were looking at me
as if I should not be here.
I felt ashamed and worried;
I wondered what people are thinking about me.
Why not help?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
We can just erase discrimination by caring one another.
Don’t care how they look,
what they do and where they came from,
Imagine if you could be chased out of your house,
leaving everything and become homeless.
Imagine if you could be told to kill your own
Parents or children, just because of discrimination and hate.
Why not love?
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination!
People are left barren and hopeless, thinking day and night,
We can create love by loving each other
because we are all the same,
Love other races as you love your own race
that is the only way.
We need love, peace and compassion,
but not discrimination.
Please imagine and act,
why not love?
